This phone .. and product strategy .. destined to fail.

Price is attractive, except for the fact1. 1200mAh enough especially on data (3G/HSPA or even on WIFI?)
2. screen damn small .. which means if playing angry birds with this .. aiming is a total failure or disaster.
3. reading emails and internet .. another failure. today 3" screens are deemed bearable already (like Galaxy Y), but 2.6"? tsk tsk ...
4. unlimited chat? dude .. dun think the marketing guy here used whatsapp, viber, line or other apps which has been out in the market for so long already
5. Priced at RM350 RRP? .. means it'll be free phone for telco postpaid packages .. but prepaid? wonder whats the catch.

All in all .. still good effort. Malaysia boleh!

RIM is amazing!
they keep posting and promoting how good their OS 7.1 is but never state clearly where/how to download this OS 7.1 in Malaysia. All Malaysia user have to download the lead version or just test their luck to use the OS 7.1 for other countries' carrier...

Well thought out points against the marketing deception. What would you do if you are the marketeer ?
Anyway, wonder who really cares, what YES? What Eclipse?
All I want is full coverage (e.g. at parking area), good quality (e.g. no drop calls) & fair price service (e.g. data plan) . All the Malaysia Telco failed the basic needs terribly so far.

none of the chip supports WiMAX. I wonder if YTL is using a separate
chip for WiMAX or they customised the Snapdragon chip.

They purpose remove 3G feature is because 3G can achieve speed similar to 4G... then what s their control to their phone? it's a plain product games plan..

Firstly Android 3.0 versions or Honeycomb versions are all meant for tablets. Phone's aren't suppose to run that. Of course what we are expecting is ICS which is MILES ahead of 3.0 and 2.3.

I agree with your statement on relation of poor network with poor quality/cheap chinese equipment
I do not agree with your statement relating Poor coverage to Politics. Pls do not be so quick and short sighted to equate Digi bad service with the government. The government isnot the punching bag. The problem rest with DIGI Top Management and the boad of directors controlled by Telenor

I am residing in eastern Europe for the past 2 years now.
(Eastern EU is considered the least developed EU country).

Price for 25MB internet package is RM150 + TV service – I have
more than 100 tv channels + HBO & Nat Geo Etc.

50MB connection is RM 300 + TV Service + HD channels.

All connections are via coaxial cable connection. And the
city that I live in consist of +- 10 000 people.

TM making big fuss about unifi and how technologically
advance their network are, well its time for them to look back and stop fooling
people around.

TM is ripping people off their pockets, this is what happens
when there is no competition. You guys might say that maxis & P1 is also
providing fiber services, yes but it is leased from TM.

Wake up my fellow country man, make some noise and show that
we are not stupid to fall for their greed.

UMobile needs to improve coverage first.
It's still rather pathetic in Penang. Especially inside popular malls like Gurney Plaza, 1st Avenue. Which is absolutely surprising...
